Updates from Ohio and Pennsylvania

The Honesdale, PA transmitter is back off the air (reason unknown).
Also, the Grafton, OH transmitter remains in test mode while interference tests are conducted in Canada.

The Mt. Holly, AR transmitter should be on the air soon and an additional 20 sites nationwide are planned for the next few months. The locations haven’t been released. (Apparently the NWS wants the transmitters posted on the official page before WeatherRadio.info and other sites find out about them…)

New stations in California and Texas; other news

New stations:
Ridgecrest, California
WNG-659, 162.425 MHz, NWS Hanford, CA
Tower location: Laurel Mountain, El Paso Peaks

Throckmorton, Texas
WNG-722, 162.425 MHz, 1000 watts, NWS San Angelo, TX

NWR audio links have been added for all NWS Miami, FL and Columbia, SC transmitters.

The Ellsworth, KS NWR has been relocated to a site about 5.5 miles northeast of Ellsworth. The transmitter is about 200 feet higher on this tower than it was on the old tower and should have a greater coverage area.

Updates

The Center, TX weather radio has finally been listed on WeatherRadio.info with the frequency listed as 162.450. When I first listed it on the Expansion page the frequency given was 162.525; I do not know if that was a mistake or if the frequency changed since the station first signed on in test mode.

The Dexter, MO (Sikeston) transmitter has been relocated to Bloomfield.

Most of the recent NWR transmitters have been moved from “Expansion” to “Station List”. The Seguin, TX transmitter is still on the Expansion page because I have not found any confirmation that the transmitter has exited test mode.

Quite a few more webcasts are now shown on the Station List page. I also corrected some bad links.
