New Station in Iowa, etc.

There is a new station broadcasting in eastern Iowa:
KJY-64 broadcasts on 162.450 MHz at 300 watts from the NWS office in Davenport, IA. The station serves the Manchester area, from a tower site near Delaware in Delaware County.

In addition, WeatherRadio.info has discontinued the NWR E-mail News service as part of the recent site upgrade. In its place, WeatherRadio.info is now offering a live headlines feed at http://www.weatherradio.info/news/atom.xml. This feed can be subscribed to from any RSS software, and browsers such as Firefox, Safari 2, and Internet Explorer 7.
