Alaska stations update
Three sites will be removed from the Alaska expansion list: Mud Bay, Site Summit, and Valdez Spit are no longer planned USCG/NWS cooperative weather radio sites.
The Nenana station is still in progress and a new transmitter is now broadcasting to the Glennallen area.

The signal coverage area appears to be upwards of 80 miles from the transmitter site.

Washington, DC update
The station is on the air although is in a test phase (not yet commissioned). The NWS in Sterling, VA recommends that listeners continue to use either the Manassas or Baltimore stations for receiving urgent weather warnings.
